Volunteer: Garry Oak Restoration

Gain essential hands-on experience working on the endangered Garry Oak restoration site near our Fort Steilacoom campus. Learn the difference between native and invasive species of the Pacific Northwest and why it is important to preserve the Garry Oak Prairie ecosystem. Come out, get your hands dirty, meet new friends and gain valuable skills, knowledge and insight for your future!

Gloves and tools are provided, please bring a water bottle and light snacks if needed.
