Advertising of College Programs and Services

It is the policy of Pierce College District Eleven to permit expenditures from general operating funds for paid advertisements in commercial print and broadcast media, in accordance with the policies and guidelines of the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges, 7.60.03 (5) and 7.90.03. The Office of College Relations, working in cooperation with major units and departments throughout the college district, will be responsible for creating, coordinating, and administering all programs of paid advertising and no operating funds shall be expended for paid advertisements of college programs and services without prior approval of the director or his/her designee.
