Board of Trustees Delegation of Scheduling Authority

The Board of Trustees of Pierce College District Eleven hereby approves the following Board of Trustees Delegation Policy regarding scheduling and holidays.

The Board of Trustees of Community College District No. 11 delegates to the Chancellor the authority to establish the academic calendar for the District. The Chancellor shall take into account the one hundred and seventy-two days of service for the full-time tenured faculty. The Chancellor shall also be responsible for developing a classified employees' holiday calendar.

The exercise of any and all authority delegated herein shall be subject to review by the Board of Trustees.
