Sick Leave for Non-Represented Part-Time Employees
Effective January 1, 2018, Pierce College will provide paid sick leave to non-represented part-time employees to care for their health and the health of their family members in accordance with RCW 49.46.210 at the rate of one (1) hour for every forty (40) hours worked as a Pierce College employee. Employees will accrue paid sick leave in quarter hour (15 minute) increments. Employees will be paid for each hour of sick leave used at their normal hourly compensation.
Non-represented part-time employees refers to the following categories:
- Part-Time Hourly
- Student Hourly
- Work Study
