Veterinary Technician Licensing Requirements in the State of Washington
The Washington State Department of Health is the agency that licenses veterinary technicians in the State of Washington and issues the Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) license to successful applicants. To obtain the LVT license, applicants must first successfully complete a veterinary technology program, the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE), and the Washington State jurisprudence examination.
