Online education can provide the flexibility necessary for some students and can provide a high quality education to help you reach your goals. There are many resources available to you as a Pierce College student. Please be sure to visit our Advising and Resources pages for information about degree planning, course selection, tutoring, access services, and more.

How to Get Started

  1. If you are using financial aid, contact a Financial Aid Office at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom or Pierce College Puyallup, or visit the Financial Aid web page
  2. Take the placement assessment if you've had no previous math or English credits.
    • You can arrange an "out of area" test with our testing coordinator. Please email ntc@pierce.ctc.edu for more information.
  3. Choose a program of study.
  4. Order official transcripts from all previously attended colleges (unofficial transcripts can be used for advising purposes ONLY).
  5. Request a transcript evaluation for any previous college coursework.
  6. (Optional) Meet with an advisor or utilize our online self-advising tools.
  7. Register. (Note: Payment is due at the time of registration.)
