New Student Advising

Whether this is your first time in college or you are returning, we are here to help. From selecting your Career Pathway to confirming your course map and enrolling, we are here to guide you through the process.

A new student advising appointment is required for all new Pierce College students. New student advising appointments are a convenient way for you to get all the information you need to start your education.

In your welcome email from Admissions, you will be guided to log into your MyPierce Portal. Within MyPierce, you can set up your student email account and watch a series of new student informational videos that provide an overview of the college’s processes, including information about our career pathways. Module 5 of the guide takes you to an online intake card. After completing the intake card, you will be contacted to schedule your initial advising appointment.

If you have attended another college, do not forget to request an official transcript prior to attending an orientation. Once Pierce College has received your transcript, complete and submit a Credit Evaluation Request. Bring an unofficial transcript to new student advising appointment.

Former Pierce College students who have not attended a new student advising appointment are encouraged to attend one.

Registration

Once you've attended your new student advising appointment you are ready to register online at your assigned time using ctcLink.
