  • Preferred Name Change
    • Pierce College recognizes that referring to students by the name they wish to be called in classrooms and when interacting with college personnel supports a respectful learning environment. You can add or update a preferred name in ctcLink, at the Admissions or Registration Office at any campus.
  • Pierce College Library Resources
    • The Pierce College Library maintains a guide with LGBTQIA+ Information Competency and Queer Pedagogy resources, the Pierce College Library Diversity Statement, and other relevant calls to action.

    • Equity, Diversity, Inclusion – College Access, Retention, and Engagement Services (EDI CARES) provides a brave space for Black, Indigenous, Persons of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQ/QTPOC, students with disabilities, and all students and staff to seek refuge, and an opportunity for them to cultivate their strengths, intelligence, resilience, and creativity.
